God, you're crazy, lady.

So! I have new friends, and obviously, this is a great excuse to post pictures about my little babies. Especially since I regret deleting posts about them when they are were first born. ...which makes it sound like I have children. I do; they are just...very furry. And have tails.

That picture does not accurately show how many rats I have. Let me tell you: thirteen. I adore each and every one but alas, even a mother is prone to favoritism...

Anyway, the number of rats I have was a complete accident (I swear it — don't listen to my mom); I bought two females from a pet store — surprise! One was pregnant; she gave birth to eleven alien-looking, hairless children. One, Toffee, died very young, and I still do not know the sex or cause of death. My favorite, Toulouse, was the runt of the litter; he died of a brain infection.

I'm sure some whiz kids are realizing the math is wrong here. My mother and step-dad in all their GENIUS bought two more female rats about sevenish months later ("because it's not that much more money to our budget"). They are, affectionately, known as the evil step-children; one of them had a biting problem (she bit her owner, a handler, and a little girl in the pet store; apparently, the latter of these aggressions resulted in a lot of blood). Had, being the key word. She, also, bit me the first time I attempted to handle her; it took me a while to come around, but she is actually one of my favorites now.

Okay, I'll shut up, so everyone can gawk at rats as pets. Or just the number of how many I have.

These are the boys. The lightest colored rat is Hitch; the fully caramel-colored, Neville; the fully black, Crooks; and the black hooded, Vincent. Hitch and Neville are named after two Will Smith characters. Because I'm awesome like that. C:

There are just too many of my girls to name them all from one picture.

This is Pearl. It's mean, but I love over pronouncing the "r" in her name when she's in my face.

And this is Pearl's cagemate, Molly.

Below Pearl's and Molly's cage is Milly...

...and Mimi.

This is Jacqueline. She's Mama rat, and she isn't afraid of showing these little punks who's boss.

She, also, use to be the fattest. But coupled with old age, pneumonia, and a mammary tumor, her bones are starting to show more; thankfully, her appetite hasn't gone anywhere. (No food is safe near this ratty.)

And this is Bijou. She's the second oldest rat of the mischief, and she comes from an older litter of Jacqueline's. She looks a lot like her mom, so just in case, she's the one in my hand.

And this sweetheart is Sophie. She loves her big sister very much.

These are the step-childrens; the one closer to the camera is Bella, and the other is Izzy. Izzy, Bella. Isabella. Har har. My mom thought she was clever.

Arguing Heteronormative Works

<blink>AKA CUT THE SHIT, STRAIGHT PEOPLE</blink>

Once upon a time, a post was linked on metafandom because there are always posts being linked on metafandom. Now, metafandom is a Land of Plenty and Kingdom of Good — fairies and sparkles. Unicorns, too! In this Kingdom of Good, metafandom citizens are kind and good people; they believe in equality, and that includes LGBTQA (Lesbian Gay Bi Trans Queer Asexual) representation.

But sometimes, metafandom is invaded by evil. One of these horrible evils was promoting LGBTQA representation through fanon OTPs. But, how you ask, can that be horrible and evil! How? It is exploitative; that's how. By promoting representation through your OTP, you are seeking your romantic and or sexual fantasy be catered to you — not that people be seen as equal, normal, and well-represented.

"But but but —!" you begin. You're only seeking to argue that a work is heteronormative or even homophobic because it refuses to see the same subtext as you. How is that exploitative? "Arguing heteronormativity is good, O Wise Storyteller!" you shout.

Of course it is! But it is not good when you use two persons, that when in a non-canon relationship, titillate your personal fancies. For one, they are titillating you, and you are seeking that they canonly titillate you; that is not fair or right to the LGBTQA, who simply want to see themselves and their sexuality (their sexuality which is not unnatural, wrong, and too "adult" for children) represented. Secondly, there are many modern and recent works that are at your fingertips to argue heteronormativity and homophobia. Here, let this Wise Storyteller give you an argument:

Many of you are familiar with House; it's common to argue that, by not making House/Wilson a canon pairing, the writers are heteronormative and homophobic. Really now? Regardless of how you may see House's and Wilson's sexuality, there are many things that take place in series for you to analyze and, thus, use to argue heteronormativity and homophobia.

Let's start with the fourth episode of season one, "Maternity." Several newborn infants are suffering from an unknown illness; notably, a couple is two women. Lesbians? Bisexuals? Either? Maybe one is asexual, even! Who knows — the point is there is a same-sex couple representing. That is fantastic; what is not fantastic is their son is one of two infants used as an experiment, and which infant dies as a result from this experiment? Yes, the infant that belongs to a same-sex couple. Oh, even better! They should be happy their son saved other infants' lives — as if that softens the blow and eases the grieving process of two parents. As if a noble death makes stuffing a same-sex couple's infant into the fridge okay.

Am I not convincing you yet? Let's try "Hunting," the first episode of season two. The patient is a gay man. Hurray! No, wait — hold onto that. He is suffering AIDs (a legitimate concern for men that sleep with other men but possibly stereotypical these days), but as a result of his AIDs, he lives up life, partying and doing drugs; he swears he's happy with his life, even though the writers are forcing his character to fit into a neat, little box labeled STEREOTYPE. Even better? He is a liar — he is a miserable, little boy. Because if you are a man that enjoys sleeping with other men (as well as attending parties)? There is no way you are happy.

Oh, how about the eighteenth episode of the season two? Yet again, we are graced another same-sex couple (out of how many opposite-sex couples so far?). The patient of this couple is ill with the Bubonic Plague and as a result, has acute liver failure. Her partner, lovingly, offers she be the donor to save her dying girlfriend. But wait! This isn't simply love; this is manipulation for love — as in, an unhealthy turn for this relationship. She is donating her liver to guilt her partner into staying in the relationship, as she is aware her partner was going to leave her.

And these examples? Were long before the fourth season, which gave us Dr. Remy "Thirteen" Hadley. How is she an example, you ask? After all, she is bisexual, and we see her in bed with men and women. That is representation, is it not? Naturally, it is!

But there is a problem with Remy's sexual encounters with the same sex, which illustrate her preferences to us. You see, the writers bestow Remy with her own character arc; in that arc, she discovers she is positive for Huntington's Disease and is, understandably, upset. So upset in fact, she becomes self-destructive: she parties and does, of course, drugs. (Does this sound familiar? It should; it is a common stereotype, too, for bisexuals.) On top of this, she has one night stands with other women; it is possible there are, too, men — but we never see her sleep with men.

Why is that? Well, a large part of heteronormativity (and homophobia) traces back to sexism. See, Remy sleeps with only women (or is shown sleeping with only women) in one night stands because women, by society's standards, are disposable. Therefore, why should she seek one night stands with men? They aren't the disposable sex — and besides, if she sleeps with men, too? Well then, she's just a dirty slut that has stopped being atheistically pleasing to other men. We have two sexist thoughts there: one, a woman that sleeps with many men is a slut; and two, women having sex with other women is pure, aesthetically beautiful, and mostly, are for men to enjoy at.

Not only do we have these sexist mentalities being applied to Remy but there is another closed-minded opinion at work here: (women) bisexuals are not really bisexual. Sometimes, this means they only sleep with women to say they do, to please men, and in Remy's case, only sleeps with women for short (and normally) unhealthy relationships. The writers' interpretation of Remy's bisexuality means, as far as ~carnal pleasure~ is concerned, yes, she is bisexual — but, romantically, she is not.

After she is mentally and emotionally better, she begins a relationship with her coworker, Dr. Eric Foreman. This relationship is happy and healthy; obviously, bisexual women can only be in long-term, healthy relationships with men. Oh, and even better? We are shown, in season six, she describes her same sex encounters to her boyfriend to make him feel better, to sexually please him; obviously, women sleeping with other women is for men, not for those women sleeping together.

Now, then. Do you really want to use House/Wilson as your proof? Have you learned, now, to use actual heteornormative and homophobic characterization?

jfc, get a life.

I, by no means, like Twilight. I do not think it's great, and we all know it just throws feminism and domestic abuse awareness back a century or so. That's fine; that's great.

But if every see any of you here, you can count on a giftcard from moi to Target where you can buy a life. That giftcard is solely for buying a life, by the way. Don't try to buy supplies to make picket signs about how much Twilight sucks or whatever.

Seriously, what is the point of a hate community? What a waste of time and effort that you can spend talking about something you love. Ugh, it's like seeing Relena haters, only it's about sparklepires now.

I'm disappointed in you.

metafandom is prone to fail; it happens. It's disappointing, but it happens. I am not going to make a giant post in response to this. As much as I want to, I have better things to do than make myself angry and waste time preaching to the choir; someone is going to set those people straight for me, and bless his or her heart when they do. They have more patience than I do.

Anyway.

1. Get out get out get GET OUT, if you dare do this. Wanting LGBTQ representation in the media is great! It's wonderful; it's so many things I can't even think to name right now. But you show your exploitative ass when you use your favorite non-heterosexual pairings to say you want it. That is not wanting queer representation; it's wanting your sexual fantasies or whatever satisfaction you get out of pairings handed to you on a sliver platter. WE ARE NOT HERE FOR YOU TO TOUCH YOURSELF AND CUM. WE ARE HERE TO LIVE AND BE PEOPLE JUST LIKE YOU. Stop exploiting us.

2. If you're going to try to veil your fail, don't use something like House/Wilson as "proof" the writers/network/whoever you're pointing the finger are homophobic or heterosexist. Something like House? Has real proof. Her name is Remy Hadley. She is bisexual, cool. Not so cool? Her relationships with women in series were self-destructive stunts; after she's better, she goes onto a relationship with a man. THIS IS YOUR HETEROSEXIST PROOF. Use it.

3. Sometimes characters are just friends, and them being friends isn't automatically a sign of homophobia from the writer(s). Writers decide a character's sexuality themselves, not the fans. Not you, the writer. A writer that writes all straight characters isn't necessarily homophobic, maybe simply heterosexist. You have to be observant and pay attention to decide this; it's not because of one fact.

4. The rest is keysmash and just full-blown rage.

THE SKIN OF A KILLER.

My mom finished forcing me into Twilight.

The movie wasn't as brain-numbing as I thought it was going to be. The soundtrack is fantastic, and it is filmed beautifully. Plot is terrible, and the characters are (mostly) flat.

I totally understand now why some people read for the secondary characters -- Rosalie is hot and one of like, two or three interesting characters? HAHA.

P.S. Bella is a loser. I would've stuck with her dork friends than the Cullens.

Again.

I was given Duo Maxwell by cattywample.

01. Do you like this character?
Yes.

I actually use to hate him when I was younger, and I think that dealt with a lot of bad voice acting, fanon characterization, and fangirl orgasms being shoved in my face. To be honest, without having a great grasp on analysis, I couldn't figure out for the life of me why people liked him so much. It was around...thirteen or fourteen I admitted to a friend, "okay, he is good-looking," and I started to realize he's not a simple character at all.

I like him for different reasons that most fans (and by most fans, I mean the distant ones that wouldn't know the real Duo if he punched them in the face). He's very damaged in some ways; he's complex, true to his name, as a dichotomy; and he's dark without being overly morbid, a mall goth, or continuously pondering on his rather tragic past.

The best part of all that is is that, to me, he reacts to situations and other people like your average fifteen and sixteen year old boy. A lot more than the other gundam pilots, I think. So as much of a nutjob as he is, I love him for being a teenager, too.

02. What name(s) do you call this character?
Uh. Duo, Duo, and...Duo. I don't call him the God of Death or Shinigami because it's totally lame, and God of Death tends to refer to the maniac on the battlefield that I, personally, would never want to meet.

03. What image/color do you associate with this character?
Dark hues -- black, blues with purple and gray tints. Russian winters. Apples. Physics, every branch and mostly thermodynamics. Also, a church burning to the ground on a snowy night.

04. What image/song do you associate with character?
His image songs (Good Luck & Goodbye, Kitto OK!, Wild Wing Boys, It's So Alright), Sympathy For the Devil (by the Rolling Stones), House of Wolves (by My Chemical Romance shut your face), Lola Stars and Stripes (by the Stills), Wolf Like Me (by TV On the Radio), My Kind of Guy (by Kaiser Chiefs), This River Is Wild (by the Killers).

Also, German and Russian.

05. What blood-type do you think this character is?
B or AB.

06. Of all of the titles that this character appears in, what character do you like to pair this character with?
LOL EVERYONE.

Uh, okay. Mostly Quatre and Trowa. Not like, as an OT3. Just 2x4 and 2x3, though I'm inclined to think he and Quatre would work out better than him and Trowa. Once upon a time, I shipped him with Wufei; I still do, I guess -- I just haven't been very driven to seek out fic. I thoroughly enjoy seeing him with Relena, actually; they would be...so very adorable.

Outside of his canon, no one, really, besides River Tam. And they wouldn't even work out... ):

07. What would you want to say to this character?
"...hi?"

08. What do you want to do with this character?
Driving lessons! He can teach me how to drive fast and furious without wrecking the car.
There are no words to describe how idiotic it is to tell someone to grow thicker skin because they find something offensive; there are no words to describe how idiotic it is to assume "well, what do you find funny?" is an effective argument; and there are no words to describe how idiotic it is that some people think stereotypes are okay and not harmful.

Why, yes.
I made fried rice!

I liked how the recipe I used turned out. The egg seemed minimal when I actually used two large eggs.

Chicken Fried Rice
<list>
4 cups cold, cooked rice
1/2 cup onion
1/3 cup carrot
1/4 cup peas
1 cup chicken (or shrimp, pork, etc.)
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 tablespoons oil
1 – 3 tablespoons soy sauce
Salt and pepper
</list>
Heat oil in wok, skillet, or what have you; use high heat. Add garlic and onion, stirring for a minute. Add rice, meat, and vegetables, stirring for five minutes; reduce heat. Make a well in the mixture, adding eggs. Let egg cook a minute, then stir into rice mixture. Add soy sauce, cooking for two minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Viola, fried rice!

Tips:

The best cold rice is yesterday’s rice.

Make sure the rice is cold and broken up.

Use oyster sauce instead of soy sauce.

Use sesame or peanut oil.

Alternate ways of cooking egg: crack eggs into mixture. Or scramble lightly before cooking garlic and onion, remove, and add back into mixture.

Minced ginger can be added to the garlic and onion.

Pretty much anything can be added to fried rice: sausage, celery, green beans, lima beans, corn. I'd say go wild, but I have a feeling some mixtures might turn out unpleasant.

I think it turned out well for my first time. I forgot to reduce the heat, and I didn't let the rice cool more than three hours (I had a dream about fried rice and wasn't about to wait a day for something I really wanted). I stuck the rice in the freezer for about twenty minutes, too, though. 8D; Worked out pretty well when I put it back into the fridge.

G. WING: ep. 2

Considering this is the episode Duo is formally introduced, I think I'll start with him. So his formal introduction? Really says a lot about things people miss about his character. Duo attacks the Alliance under water (for those that have fuzzy memories or don't know, they were looking for Wing, which had sunk to the bottom after Heero crash landed); no one can see him, and he's at deep depths at some points. Also, to note: when Zechs' men do find Wing, Duo uses some type of flash bomb to blind them and attack; afterwards, it looks more like he fakes being overpowered to lull the last pilot into a false sense of confidence. It works well enough, if he really did. He also leaves no survivors of the Alliance -- the search party (minus Zechs and his men, who he did not see), ships, the carrier. None. And he fully plans on that, which anyone can see when he says, "you'll all die." So Duo? Pretty ruthless, vengeful, and underhand (deceptive is an adjective I'd like to use, but it could come back to bite me on the ass).

Now, he's not completely awful. He does come to save Relena, when Heero is begins to pull the trigger. He actually sorta attempts to be the "hero," only to turn into the bad guy (as he puts it) when Relena only runs to Heero's aid. So for every Alliance soldier, there's a civilian Duo is willing to save.

Before I get to Heero and Relena, we see larger glimpses of the other pilots.

Trowa -- the crazy mother fucker -- is applying at a circus, and when doing so, he puts his hand into the lion cage. Visibly, his eyes widen while his face is pretty...blank? There's something to Trowa that can't be described as blank anymore that a lot of fans apply to him; I think reserved is a better way. He does look somewhat disdainfully at the circus manager when he questions Trowa about joining. In any case, Trowa says hi, and the lion, previously looking pissed, warms up to him. He then makes his quote about animals being true to their feelings and not baring their fangs at enemies. This says a lot about Trowa, who I think actually isn't as unfeeling as fans like to him make out to be. Though I do admit: Trowa has always baffled me, but I want to say that his animal quote is more about either being true to his feelings himself or envying that ability to some degree, which he doesn't seem to live by as he's so reserved. Either way, he shows the lion he is no intention of being a threat and for people with close attention, does show his fear (but it doesn't really feel like it was fear).

As for Quatre, <strike>he is adorable</strike> <strike>he is feminine whyyyyy, Sunrise, did you give him a woman for a voice actor</strike> we see his admiration for the earth. He's laying, flat on his stomach, with binoculars and presumably, watching the flamingos on Sandrock. He comments that it's beautiful and then "do they know how beautiful it is?" They could be any number of groups, and I don't think he means just the Alliance. I once read an analysis for this episode, and the writer commented that this scene expresses Quatre's sentiment of not destroying possibilities. I have to agree with this. Also, I sorta snorted, but: he has his butler with him. ... :| He is. Spoiled. Even in a situation like this. I strain my brain imagining him live very long without luxury.

Lastly, Wufei. His situation is straightforward: buying explosives from his enemy. All I can say is, fangirls, shut your mouth. He is not a justice freak; if he was, he would not be doing something that underhand. He is willing to dirty his hands, and yes, this makes him a hypocrite for the two or three monologues he makes about justice.

Now, Relena. Relena Relena Relena. This girl is very thoughtful. Throughout the episode, she looks down a lot and in thought. Presumably about Heero and what is going on with this guy. He's nuts; he threatened to kill her. Then he stabs his broken foil through another fencers mask (made of glass -- wtf, that is not safe) and is missing for a horseback lesson. On the way home, she's so into thinking about it that one of the girls comments "no one would tell it's your birthday with that gloomy expression." A little off topic but they ask for her "beautiful smile" after that, and she painfully fakes it for them. It's just. So worth the note.

In any case, on the way home, we see her talking out loud to no one in particular again. At least Pagan is around this time, right? Anyway, she starts connecting the dots: Heero has secerts; Heero wants to kill her because she knows his secret. Worth note again, Pagan asks if she's reading a suspense book when I'm sure he could obviously see no book in her hand. She goes with the cover, in any case.

So yeah, this episode is her birthday party. She walks stiffly out (though that could be bad animation) and thanks everyone from coming, even though her mind is still obviously elsewhere. Her father has to leave again, too -- on her birthday. She smiles, tells him she understands the importance of his business, and kisses his cheek. This girl, despite being lonely, is still a loving daughter, understanding, and selfless. Note the selflessness. It's important.

When she kisses his cheek, a few pictures fall out of "meteors" falling through earth's atmo.; conveniently, the radio plays a news snippet that said meteors were not mobile suits as rumored. Again, she connects the dots and realizes that's a lie. She even says so out loud, though no one notices. Interestingly, I think it can be debated that her crush on Heero starts here, as she comments to herself "Heero. Is he a Star Prince?" I do not think this is a true thing, though. Obviously, she is lonely, and this guy is the only person that doesn't kiss the ground she walks on; even if weird things are going on, she is romanticizing him because this could be a break out of everything in her life right now.

So one of her peers arrives late, commenting Heero isn't here and that maybe that guy that nearly drove him off the road was Heero (headed for a military port, no less). Yes, you guessed it -- Relena connects the dots again. Promptly, she leaves her party because she wants to stop Heero from killing someone else. I really love how as she leaves her late arriver and fangirls start to protest and "let us come," and you can see that leadership is in her blood. She immediately looks crossed and commandingly says, "no! You stay here." All four of her peers are taken aback and look a little afraid of such a severe look on her face, which her mother comments she's never seen on Relena before.

Well, off to the military port Relena goes, where she finds Heero. No, he doesn't hate her. For a moment, he looks sad, realizing he has to kill her. Then he pulls his gun and tells her she's in too deep. All plans to stop him have failed. At least until Duo shoots Heero twice. Relena, despite almost having been killed, is so selfless she rips up her dress and bandages Heero's gunshot wounds.

Though, at the end, she realizes she is in deep. Her last line for the episode is "who are these guys?"

Character analysis aside: this episode was great lulz. Foils through glass masks, riding on the bottom of trucks, flipping after getting shot, flying on torpedoes. And I really hate the translation job. Everyone's way of speaking actually sounds the same (Relena isn't exactly formal; Duo says "fool"), but it's obvious who is and isn't exactly polite and formal when listening to the Japanese.

I'll fix typos...much later. This took a little over an hour to do, and much as I love it, it's tiring.

G. WING: sidenotes.

One → Language.
<list>
Wufei: 張 五飛. Which is really, Zhāng Wǔfēi. His surname (張) means "to open forth/spread." The characters of his name mean five (五) and to fly (飛). A...really terrible name. But it's a play on words that the creators enjoy so much. Interestingly, fēi cháng (非常) means extraordinary, extreme, and exceptional (depending contextual use, probably). It could possibly be another word play, considering the creators considered English (the play on hero/Heero) for translation.

Quatre: Okay, all jokes about "HOW ~MANRI~" he is aside. His usage of boku (masculine/less polite I) is either a really bad attempt on the creators' part to make up for the fact he is voiced by a woman OR. It is some way of showing he isn't as polite as people write him off as. I like to think it's the latter or both. Because Quatre does have some haughty air to him at times, and he just doesn't always do that miss/mr. thing I see some people write him as. He, at least, doesn't refer to everyone that way.
</list>

Two → Background (that I will v. briefly touch on).
<list>
To make this as tl; dr as possible: GW is used to drive home Japan's actions during WW2. And the most obvious way that is shown is in the gundam pilots and kamikaze comparisons. (Seen here in this essay.) There is some amount of it seen in the Alliance, OZ, and how Treize took over (though less obvious to most people, I'm sure).

Following that: a lot of people criticize the series for hammering on pacifism, for Relena being socialist, and for going completely backwards (aristocrats, it suddenly dawning on people that they do, indeed, have power). Point-blank, no one seems to really know jack about Japan's politics after WW2 and during the 1990s. Pacifism after WW2, which went in hand with a few doctrines that put Japan in close alliance with the US, was heavily debated. Alliance and the Romefeller Foundation are used to represent those that oppose it, want Japan's military power back (article 9 of the Japanese constitution is a "no war" clause), and want a breakaway from the US. Some fifty years later, it was still a problem in the 1990s (affecting several other policies and actions) and could still be a problem now.

That gives a very...basic understanding. I half-assed this explanation because my attention span is lacking for the politics that influenced the series; I welcome people explaining better or more though.
</list>

G. WING: ep. 1

I can see why the series never really picked up so much attention in Japan. Especially since Neon Geneis Evangelion was airing during the same year. It snapshots about everyone important in the series (Heero and the rest of the boys, Treize, Zechs, and Relena) and gives a nice overview. But it's very...rushed and awkward. It's a shame that Episode Zero had to be cut and didn't get a chance to be produced; I think it would have been a better snapshot of all the cast and could've explained the situation better than some narrator in the beginning.

Now, the episode focuses on Heero and Relena (and Zechs), next to jumpstarting the plot. And...I guess this where people start picking up Relena is crazy and annoying. Which is unfair because c'mon, guys, Heero is really crazy, too. Relena though... It's always been strange about her yelling at no one about her father being busy during her birthday; it's also always been strange that she introduces herself when Heero takes off and no one is around yet again.

Considering her position though, I don't think it's that strange. Her father is extremely busy, to the point he -- obviously -- doesn't spend a lot of time with her and often has to leave her for political business. She has no friends at school, more little fangirls than anything else; they all seem to envy her and for the most part, kiss the ground she walks on. These girls use the -sama suffix in the Japanese version, which is equal to the title of lady; though in English, it's translated as "Miss Relena." Both are very formal and ass-kissing for friends. Relena Darlian is a lonely girl.

A very reserved lonely girl at that. She doesn't get angry when her father leaves her for something political; though she does look down and sad before raising her head and walking home. And she doesn't even bat an eyelash when the girls at school praise her and greet her. She bottles things up and waits until she's alone. Hence her outlet being yelling about her father and her birthday to no one in particular before finding Heero.

Then there is the "my name is Relena Darlian. What's yours?" bit. Which appeared in Episode Zero when she unknowingly met Heero at a younger age. Both times he ran before she could say much of anything, and she seems to regret not introducing herself and such. Thus doing so after the fact to somehow make up for it. And if not make up for it, it's like when you say something stupid and say what would've been better out loud to yourself after. It's not strange for a person at all. It just seems strange, in my opinion at least because of the script and directing.

I do think it's strange she tears up when Heero rips the invitation. The whole episode she is reserved and has very fiery looks on her face when there a frozen closeups. I can't tell if it is a natural emotional reaction to someone that Relena is so interested in and would like to get to know (no, not romantically) rejecting her or if it's suppose to be a sign of her emotional immaturity at this point and how she has to learn to stand on her own. Of course, it could easily be both.

But fangirls? There is no automatic crush here. If Heero were a girl, the reaction would be the same. There is a mysterious, obviously dangerous boy that she finds washed ashore and then ends up in her school the next day. Who wouldn't ask questions? Who wouldn't want to get to know Heero? And as it is, Relena is also very polite. It's why she steps out of the way for her father; it's why she doesn't say anything to her fangirls; and it could be part of the reason why she extends an invitation to Heero, the new student. A "here, I'll try befriend you and help you feel comfortable" type of thing.

And Heero... There isn't much to say than emotionally stunted and just a wee bit crazy. There is always that crazy laugh in the beginning that can be interpreted several ways, and...I honestly don't know which way to go with it. I don't really think it's a psychotic "I just blew your shit up" thing; it's always seemed more of a..."this is my freedom now, and I can -- essentially -- do what I want." And that realization coming from a battle.

And of course, there's the snapshot of everyone else, and the rest of boys seen briefly in battle. Duo smiling and having a breeze, which is honestly just the tip of the iceberg on this boy. Trowa speaks very deadpan during the battle he's in and interestingly, notes "pilot name: Trowa, for the record." Quatre is seen with the Maganacs. He kills the captain and comments with "I told you; you should've surrendered." It's not quite remorse or sadness; it seems more "what a loss, but you should have listened." And Wufei. Being very forward and unafraid of information being taken on his gundam. Though his tone isn't much of arrogant when he comments the battle will be over in no time. It's matter of factly, which is where his arrogance is at. And maybe that is the old scholar in him but most likely, his personality overall.

...poor f-list. You have 48 more of these incoherent babbles to show up on your f-list. ♥

[ Drabbles ] DDD Kink Meme.

Characters: Miles Edgeworth, Quatre Winner.
Prompt: Uchuu no kokoro (heart of outer space).
Rating: R.

Their mouths crash against each other without grace, and shamelessly, Quatre trembles in Edgeworth's lap as he's thrust into. Moans are caught between the slide of tongues, limbs tighten around the body, breathing becomes erratic. Butterflies dance wildly in Quatre's stomach, and he grips the older man’s shoulders as though it’ll steady the feeling.

The feeling is shared half-heartedly and almost not at all; everything is, for once, empty of emotions. Quatre appreciates it immensely, despite how deeply he cares for Edgeworth; the weightlessness and brief smiles of happiness are almost too rare, and his melancholy makes Quatre's chest clench, his heart beat painfully, his soul suffer with him.

A rough thrust forces him to wrench their mouths away, and a moan escapes him. Pleasure, not wholly his own, crashes over him, and Quatre reaches completion first. He trembles again, burying his face in the crook of Edgeworth's neck.

Everything slows then stills; Quatre basks in the emptiness, the weightlessness before their wretchedness will overtake them again and his heart become crushed under the weight of sharing others' emotions.

Characters: Duo Maxwell, Quatre Winner.
Prompt: Anonymous sex.
Rating: NC-17/R.

It was some club on another world. Damp, dark, dirty -- with loud, distasteful music and with louder, more distasteful people. Duo had gone for beer and to blend into a crowd just for one moment; Quatre, disapproving of alcohol consumption, had followed only to make sure Duo stayed out of trouble.

But between thundering beats, dim lights, and pressing bodies -- Quatre had lost his friend. He had adjusted, blended in, and when he had been groped from behind, hesitantly followed. Duo was probably doing the same, and he didn't see why he couldn't enjoy guilt-free sex -- just one time.

So after maneuvering through the swarm of dancing bodies to a corner -- damp with who knew what, he accepted being pushed against the wall, facing away from the stranger. He accepted the unzipping of his pants and the hand around his cock too. And unheard by anyone in the pounding music, Quatre moaned and arched against the body behind him. He panted, too, when when the strokes quickened in time and rubbed his ass against the man's clothed cock. But then as quickly as it had come, it stopped, leaving him without orgasm.

Whatever whines Quatre made in the back of his throat were unnoticed. But they died quickly when -- somehow -- he managed to gather the man wanted to continue in the bathroom. Zipping his pants and eager to come, Quatre followed him from one dirty place to the next.

Light flooded his vision as he entered the bathroom, and blinking away his sudden blindness, he turned to his unknown sex partner. There was a pause, each taking in familiar features. Duo and Quatre laughed.

"Fancy meeting you here," Duo said, a grin firmly in place.

Quatre smirked and pulled the other boy to him by a belt loop. "Would be fancier with you in my pants again," he replied.

Duo laughed again, and Quatre allowed himself to pushed into a stall. The music was still loud, but he could hear more clearly; and it was dry and considerably cleaner in their new corner. Skipping anonymous sex was much better too.

Characters: Alphonse Elric, Duo Maxwell.
Prompt: Intoxication.
Rating: PG-13.

Of all the people Duo excepted to share shots with, it wasn't Alphonse Elric. But everyone had something they needed to forget about, and when Al had said as much, Duo had smiled and offered to show him one way to forget.

Downing a shot, Duo smiled wryly as he listened to Al. He made a talkative drunk, despite what few shots he had had -- not to Duo's surprise -- and was practically on the point of rambling; his speech was slurred and sleepy too, and when Al wasn't looking, he slide the shot glass away. Al'd had enough whiskey for the night, even if it was considerably less than how much he himself had downed.

"Are you listening?" Al frowned -- more like pouted -- and leaned forward, coming considerably close to Duo's personal bubble. When he fumbled for a reply, Al frowned further. "You weren't," he confirmed.

Duo smiled apologetically. "Sorry," he said. "I'm not all here."

Al scrunched his face in confusion and then in annoyance. "You're never here -- unless you're flirting," he shot back with an accusatory tone.

The smile dropped, and he looked away. "Too drunk to deal with this shit now," Duo mumbled.

Al didn't notice -- didn't seem to, at least. But he was so drunk, how could he notice? Though he paused briefly before suddenly asking, "what are you trying to forget?"

Duo didn't bother trying to divert the new conversation. He hadn't been in the process of forgetting at all -- he couldn't when he was drinking slowly and making sure Al didn't drink too much --, and what he had meant to forget was the only thing that he had been thinking of. So why bother now? "Blonds," he replied and grinned sardonically.

"Me too." Al smiled softly, briefly looking like the boy Duo was more familiar with. Duo didn't reply, and there was a stretch of silence; Al interrupted the calm moment by speaking suddenly again. "Can I help you forget?" He leaned enough into Duo's personal space to brush bangs and placed a hand on Duo's thigh.

Duo's mouth dropped slightly, but he didn't push the other boy away. A pretty blond offering a fuck? He wasn't one to deny himself or the offerer, but he knew Al; there'd be regret and embarrassment in the morning and who knew how much drama.

"You always flirt and talk about how you want," Al continued, not waiting for a reply. Duo noted his speech sounded more sleepy than slurred now; some time between then and when Duo hadn't been paying attention, Al had begun to look considerably tired too.

Quickly, Duo interrupted him and pushed him away -- taking the hand on his thigh into his own in the process -- just enough to have a few inches between them. Being so close wouldn't help him say no. "I do want it -- when you aren't drunk and can get it up. Or y'know, when you're in the right frame of mind and really do want it and won't regret -- "

The other boy fell forward, body slack and caught against Duo's. There was a brief moment of bewilderment; then Duo sighed -- out of relief or disappiontment, he wasn't sure. But at least, he thought, with Al passed out, one of them had a chance to forget.

Characters: Duo Maxwell, River Tam, Quatre Winner.
Prompt: Ceiling!River watches you sex your friend.
Rating: NC-17/R.

He isn't sure how they ended up this way. It had been a joke -- one of Duo's shameless and shouldn't be listened to ones -- brought on by River's sporadic relationship advice that bordered on demands. Yet somewhere in between, they had become serious and didn't deny Duo when he initiated. Or rather, Quatre hadn't denied him. He couldn't really when Duo had assaulted his mouth and pushed him onto the bed. River had merely sat down with an interested look, as though she had been waiting for the moment -- she probably had been, he thinks.

Quatre can't imagine she's half as sexually excited as they are though; there isn't a familiar pleasure to be shared, but he thinks maybe hers feels different and is blurred against his and Duo's ecstasy. She looks mostly curious though and sometimes dizzy -- between his and Duo's thoughts, it must be dizzying --, and he knows she's working out the equations.

Duo thrusts into him with a rough rhythm, and Quatre clutches the sheets instead of hair -- a sacrifice for being taken from behind to see River, to lock eyes with her as he arches wantonly and groans loudly. Duo watches her watch them as well between groans and through half-lidded eyes, and eventually, he quietly asks her to join.

To his surprise, she does -- slowly but not unsure and still with curiosity. An arm wraps around his abdomen, and Quatre is pulled upright, Duo still inside. He moans her name and threads his fingers into River's hair, relishing it more than sheets; she follows the pull and presses her lips against his. Quatre breaks away soon though for Duo to claim her mouth and slowly begins shedding her of her pink dress.

And he decides it doesn't matter how they ended up this way -- only that he likes it and that perhaps Duo's shamelessness should be considered more often.

Characters: Duo Maxwell, Quatre Winner, Heero Yuy.
Prompt: No prompt.
Rating: R.

There's a time Duo and Quatre remember that Heero would have panicked at the suggestion of being restrained and blindfolded; there still is panic even now. They can tell in how tense his muscles are and how heavy his careful breathing is. He's not use to relinquishing control this much, to giving people this much trust so openly. But he's doing it for them -- mostly, anyway.

Duo ghosts a hand along a naked thigh, and Heero might as well jump out of his skin. Quickly though, he recovers, and when the touch is repeated, there is no surprised or jumpy reaction. He swallows and waits for another touch -- one he can't see or predict; he wants to say something but doesn't know what.

Quatre speaks for him, pressing against his body from behind and whispering into his ear. His breath tickles, and between it, restraints, and Quatre's naked body against his, he has to fight the instinct to tremble. "Are you sure, Heero?"

A hand strokes Heero's hair, and if the angle weren't wrong, Heero would have think it's Quatre. When he nods, Duo's hand then traces down his cheek and neck, over taut muscle, to hardened flesh; he hovers and waits for Heero's approval again.

Quatre continues, voice low and gentle still. "Really, Heero. You don't need to -- "

Whatever else he was going to say dies in his throat, as Heero finally finds what to say. "I want to."
